Alpine frost

This is a scarf I made last fall for my mother. It was supposed to be a birthday gift, but I was a month or so late due to the wee one wanting my needle every time I began to crochet. In any case, I’m quite pleased with it. The pattern is called Alpine Frost, and I got it on Ravelry after falling in love with it on Posie Gets Cozy. I used fine lace weight by Rowan that was 80% baby Suri Alpaca and 20% fine merino wool. It’s quite dreamy.

Fingerless gloves

I was able to make 3 pair of these babies while traveling halfway across the country. By the last pair I felt a pro!
Isn’t my new teapot lovely? I’ve been searching for just the right one for years now, and I found this in our local Stash tea store. Perhaps I’ll go back sometime and pick up the matching cup and saucer. Or two of them.
